At first, when I took it out of the packaging I thought, "This chair looks to low to the ground. It definitely isn't 10+ inches." Well, even though I am still not sure if it is 10 inches high, I have to say it is one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat in.
I went hiking with it and found a beautiful prairie in the middle of some trees. I had used the chair to carry my food, books, MP3 player & headphones, and drink bottle. I opened the chair without much difficulty and was soon engrossed in a book. I actually fell asleep without meaning to, the chair was so comfortable. The height didn't affect my comfort level at all.
The "knapsack" made a little too much noise while I was hiking (like clanking), but I bet I could have made it quieter by using cloth strategically. It was comfortable on my back, too. The space it created was big enough to carry a great many things. All in all, it is a wonderful hiking companion.

I bought two of these to use on hiking trips with my boxer and malamute. They're not bad packs, they have a lot of adjustable straps up top so you can fit it properly even on a barrel chested boxer. However, they only have one strap under the belly which makes the pack less stable, and in my boxer's case, rubbed up against his front legs and chaffed. This same strap also tends to loosen during a hike meaning later when that same boxer decided to be a little silly and rollover the pack shifted some in addition to him getting his leg caught in the loosened strap. This pack just isn't built for more than a walk around town.

My son has been using this bag for about 18 months, since he was in 4th grade. He was lugging heavy books, flute, lunch bag. It is a sturdy bag, do not bother to buy those cheap $20 or under rolling backpack, you get what you pay for! Invest in this one and it will last for a couple of school years. We couldn't be happier with it.
This backpack is amazing! My boyfriend has the red and I have the blue. They are sturdy, hold everything we need for class, work, and light travel needs. Lots of pockets. Nice to look at. Not hard on my back and I'm really petite. Heavy duty enough for him and he's big and carries all type of equipment and books. We love our backpacks!
I bought this bag last december when I purchased my HP Livestrong Laptop. The bag is not one of the best out there. You can get much better bags from competitors (Targus etc) with better feature sets. As I am a student, the bag has not withstood the rigours of my student life and already the seems are bursting on the side exposing the low quality workmanship.
I was looking for the perfect bag to carry my books and laptop at college, and this is it! It's got a ton of pockets including room for a 15.4" laptop that straps securely in a padded pocket. Even with the laptop in the bag you can fit books and notebooks with no problem. I also carry around my AC adapter and a car charger with no worries. It's got a hard shell on the bottom of the bag to protect your computer from damage if it's dropped. You couldn't ask for more!
This is a review for the 17" slip case. This has a great padding on it that's durable and good looking. It holds the computer perfectly, and with a slight bulge, a power cord and block will fit in the front pocket with lots of other cables and electronics. Great value for a great product. Also has a wonderful document area by the laptop area.
This is a great backback for the price. Not the lightest pack for the capacity (which is decent) but not overly heavy (and cheap - I think I paid about $60). I found it very comfortable for a 4 days grand canyon trip. I did not like the side pockets - not very accessible and wierd shape that precluded putting water bottle in them. Overall a good pack.
Great small backpack for day to day use
